CMI Accessories Pty Ltd. (referred to as “CMI”) is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles (referred to as “APPs”) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) for Australia (referred to as the “Principles”).

CMI recognises the importance of your privacy and understands that the security of your personal information is important to you. We are committed to protecting the personal information you provide to us. This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy” or “Policy”) outlines how we manage your personal information and protect your privacy. This Policy does not apply to third party websites to which CMI’s website might be linked where CMI does not control the privacy practices of such resources. If you choose to enter such a linked website, you agree that CMI is not responsible for the availability of such website and does not review or endorse and shall not be liable, directly or indirectly, for how those websites or mobile applications manage your personal information.

CMI is in the business of selling and distributing wholesale mobile phone and electronics accessories within Australia. As a matter of conducting its routine business, CMI may collect the following types of personal information: name, address, telephone number, email, credit references and financial information.

We may collect information about how you use our website(s) or applications to help us better serve you. When you look at a CMI operated website, the internet service provider makes a record of your visit and logs the following information for statistical purposes:

- your top level domain name (for example .com, .gov, .au, .uk etc);
- the pages you accessed and documents downloaded;
- the previous site you have visited; and
- the type of browser you are using.
Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting have been enabled on CMI operated website/s and as a result personal information about users such as age, gender and interests may be collected.
Such information will only be used or disclosed for the purpose of better understanding users and identify how experience and interaction can be improved and will not be used or disclosed for any other purpose without your consent.
Disclosure of personal information
Your personal information will not be used in contrary to this Privacy Policy but we may use your personal information (including disclosing it to third parties):

Your personal information may be stored by us in various forms including both electronic and hardcopy. Personal information is only accessible by persons that require access to that information to carry out their work. CMI has directed its staff that personal information must be dealt with in accordance with this Policy and kept secure from unauthorised access or disclosure.
When your personal Information is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was obtained, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify it.
CMI Accessories implements Trend Micro Advanced Business Security Services and Hosted Email Security as perimeter protection as well as the Microsoft Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) stack. All data stored on CMI Accessories internal servers is backed up and protected by Acronis encryption.
Access to your personal information
You may request access to your personal information we have by contacting the CMI Head Office. We will provide you with access once you have proved your identity. If your personal information is incorrect or you wish us to delete it, contact us to update or delete it.
